Powers Heating and Air, LLC. is a family owned Corporation. We believe the quality of our work reflects on our name. When you Contract with Powers, you are working with a business that has reliably maintained personal touch, attention and dedication to the successful completion of all of our projects.
O'Michael Powers, Owner of Powers Heating and Air, is a second-generation Mechanical Contractor. He was raised in the trade, working in and around the Atlanta, GA area. The Powers family, led by Tim Powers, first entered the HVAC trades in the 1970s and Elaine Powers, Michael's mother, was and still is active in the development of HVAC codes and Construction Industry standards in the State of Georgia. During this time, Michael started work at the age of 14 with the family business and he began operating as a Project Manager at the age of 19. Then, after 25 years of working in the industry as the Commercial Project Manager/Installer/etc., the first generation of Powers Heating and Air was ready to retire. So, in 2021, Michael set out to start his own Company in the beautiful mountains of Tennessee.
His family is still actively involved in the industry and working to assist his Company to grow and expand. Today, Powers owns and operates a sheet metal shop for rectangular duct fabrication and staging purposes. Michael and his wife, Virginia Powers, are growing their Commercial Mechanical Company while raising their two children and somehow finding time to share their love of paddling whitewater.

All of our employees are expected to maintain high industry standards and regularly receive industry specific training. For each job, we work with State and Local officials, as required, to permit and have inspected all of our work. Each individual employed at Powers is E-Verified, expected to earn their EPA 608 Certification, attend OSHA courses and required to participate in an Employee Background check. We strive to maintain a family like atmosphere even with the handling of our workforce and we are very appreciative of all of our employees that work their hardest to produce an excellent Mechanical Project experience for our clients.
